Dental examination is the visual inspection of the teeth and surrounding structures, including the head and neck. Your dentist or dental hygienist will check for cavities to see if there is any plaque – that’s the clear, sticky layer of bacteria – or tartar on your teeth. The dentist also checks the gums to ensure they are healthy and stable.

Dental Radiograph are commonly called X-rays and Dentist used them to find hidden dental structures, malignant or benign masses, bone loss, and cavities.

Regular routine check-ups are important – not just for the teeth but also the gums and the mouth. If there are any changes that need to be treated, such as tooth decay or gum disease, these can often be detected in the early stages, making treatment more straight-forward. Regular visits can reduce the impact and ensure longevity
